| Hello, my name is Altera F. Hanako. My name is Altera F. Hanako and I am a technical support engineer for Altera® FPGA products at Macnica. |
Did you know that you can get sample and reference designs for Altera® FPGAs "for free"?
It's the FPGA Design Store!
There you will find a variety of example designs for Altera® FPGAs and reference designs for a variety of development kits, with the latest design examples. (Available with Quartus® Prime development software 16.0 or later.)
The best part is that Quartus® Prime project templates are included so that you can start designing with Quartus® Prime as soon as you get your design data! So once you set up your project in Quartus® Prime, you can start validating your design right away (with a few exceptions).
It is very easy to use!
1. go to the FPGA Design Store. 2!
2. select the desired design information from the filters on the left side of the screen.
|
The filter types are FPGA Device Family Quartus Prime Edition & Version Development Kit [FPGA Dev Kit]. IP Core Category These are the four above. You can also enter keywords. 3. |
The lineup filtered by the selection criteria will be displayed.
Click the Expand/Collapse icon on the right for a quick overview. 4.
Click on the desired Title from the list displayed to go to the detail page. 5.
On the detail page, you will be able to download the project containing the design, as well as the documentation with instructions and explanations.
Click the Download button to download the par file.
For instructions on how to extract the downloaded project template (.par), please refer to the Detailed Description on that page.
Or refer to How to Extract the FPGA Sample Design par File.
In addition to the FPGA Design Store, Altera® also provides reference and sample designs in the FPGA Design Examples and RocketBoard.
By touching these samples, you can quickly become familiar with how to use Quartus® Prime and the IP (Intellectual Property) creation flow, and you can apply the settings to your own projects as a reference.
