Step 1 : Download the EPE tool
First, download the EPE (PowerPlay Early Power Estimator) from Altera®'s website for the required FPGA series and generation.

Step 2: Enter FPGA specifications into EPE
In EPE, the customer determines the FPGA conditions (air flow conditions, number of logic elements to be used, I/O, PLL, clock frequency, etc.).
Even if the FPGA conditions have not been determined, it is of course possible to select devices based on current, input voltage, and output voltage values.
Step 3: Consult with the contact person based on the EPE information
If you contact our sales representative to discuss power supply circuits based on the power consumption calculated by EPE, we will propose a power supply device that meets your specifications.
Step 4: Prototype production and evaluation for mass production
Our technical department in charge of power supply products will provide support for the realization of the product after the customer conducts prototyping, device evaluation, and board evaluation.
Step 5: Mass production
Mass production begins.
