Introduction
Sulfur-Mini is a platform ideal for both development evaluation phases and mass production design phases, consisting of the mass-production quality SoM "KEIm-A5E(A3C) SoM Mini" equipped with Agilex™ 5 FPGAs E-Series (or Agilex™ 3 C-Series FPGA) and a compact carrier board equipped with sufficient interfaces such as an FMC connector and expansion pin headers.
The greatest feature of Sulfur-Mini is its world-class smallest SoM size of just "60mm x 43mm" and a wide operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C, making it suitable for embedding in space-limited enclosures and use in harsh industrial environments. This allows development to proceed on the same platform from prototype to mass production.
By utilizing the FMC expansion slot and 2×20 pin headers, peripherals can be flexibly added according to the application, significantly reducing board development man-hours and board manufacturing costs during functional development.
Sulfur-Mini supports any application combining the Arm processor and FPGA fabric of the Agilex™ 5 FPGAs E-Series, enabling algorithm development and verification for a wide range of applications recently in demand, such as industrial uses like machine vision and robot/motor controllers, slow mobility, object detection, video surveillance represented by AGV/AMR and service robots, and advanced driver assistance systems.
