Error when copying a project created with Quartus® Prime on a Linux machine to a Windows® PC and compiling it

Error(13225): Can't open VHDL or Verilog HDL file "xxxx"
Error(16185): Can't elaborate user hierarchy "xxxx"

Please check if the file path for your project in the Windows environment exceeds 256 characters.
If it exceeds 256 characters, please try changing the file path to a path with fewer characters.
