Can I change the FPGA device model number without changing the EMIF (External Memory Interface) IP parameters?

Even if the parameters of the EMIF IP are not changed at all, if the FPGA model number is changed in Quartus® Prime, the EMIF IP must be re-generated.

If not, an error may occur during compilation of Quartus Prime.
