Please do the following setting to recognize 'define constants in ModelSim®.
When ModelSim® project is created
・Select the source file which you want to specify 'define' from the Project window, and right-click to open the property
・Select Verilog & SystemVerilog tab, and select Other Verilog Options Click Macro... in Other Verilog Options ・Select Verilog & SystemVerilog tab and click Click
・Register individual Macro in the Define Macro window
If you are using Quartus® Prime's NativeLink
・Select Compile => Compile Options... from ModelSim®'s Toolbar ・Select Verilog & SystemVerilog tab and select Compile => Compile Options....
Select the Verilog & SystemVerilog tab and click Macro... in Other Verilog Options.
・Register individual Macro in the Define Macro window
